Last Thursdays solar eclipse

Here are my pictures from last Thursday solar eclipse taken through my binoculars.

That large sunspot is the largest one in at least five years. It’s HUGE. It’s about the size of Jupiter. If you look closely, you can see another sunspot off to the left. That one is about the size of the Earth.

I figured I should start posting some of my astrophotography pictures here. We had a nice clear night on April 8th. Here are some of the images I took.

This was my first time trying to get Mars. Mars is small, so it’s hard to get any details in the images.
